The Night Before Christmas....

Remember the old poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas"?  Our newest Block of the Month is a soft and quilted version of that festive rhyme!  Using French General's La Petite Ecole collection, Anne Sutton has created a beautiful design with a timeless feel.  The sign up fee is just $10, and each month you will receive pattern and fabrics to complete one block.  Borders and binding fabrics will arrive at the end of the program, and we are one of the few shops that include embroidery floss and embellishments to finish your quilt!  Program runs January-October 2011, giving you enough time to finish the quilt for Christmas next year.  Sign up today!

October Giveaway Question!

I can't believe October is here already!  The weather is still nice and the leaves have yet to start falling, but autumn is surely around the corner.  Today being the first of the month, that means it is time to start another giveaway.  Our question for October is:

What is your best quilting tip?

For those of you have been quilting for years, this is your chance to pass along some of your expertise.  Beginners, too, are more than welcome to share what you've done that has made quilting easier.  Perhaps it is something you've come up with, or maybe it has been passed down through generations.  This could be about technique, efficiency, time management, organization - the possibilities are endless. Near the end of the month three people will win $25 gift certificates.
